Looks of the Week - 31/08/13

The weekly roundup of celebrity style, on and off the red carpet.

Printed Pavements
Alexa Chung takes a stylish stroll in New York City, looking summery in a pretty floral print Kenzo dress with peplum waist, paired with flat red sandals.
Katie Holmes films a movie scene in a vintage inspired mix-print look featuring a grid-checked skirt and contrasting floral blouse. No comment on the Mary-Janes.
Dianna Agron looked delightful in a carnation pink printed Louis Vuitton dress, styled with black flat Tory Burch sandals and a Helmut Lang tote bag
Ashley Greene stepped out in an eye-catching floral printed jumpsuit by Boohoo, with black ballet Matt Bernson pumps.

Duo-Tone

Olivia Munn details inner-as-outer wear in an ivory satin bustier with black piping and a lace pencil skirt by Michael Kors.
Carey Mulligan does retro flair with ease in a modish little black Miu Miu dress with white collar and T-bar platform heels.
Mia Wasikowska pairs her black and white pleated Proenza Schouler skirt with a simple white t-shirt and strappy matching sandals.
Emmy Rossum mixes labels with a cute beaded Moschino Chic 'n Cheap sweater and a RED Valentino mini skirt with scalloped belt.

Plaid Sailing

Cara Delevingne pioneers the plaid trend in a snazzy green and blue pair of trousers, worn with a grey tee, black jacket, a Yliana Yepez backpack and Giuseppe Zanotti sneakers.
Mollie King looked dashing in a navy, green and red Preen Line plaid print dress, chicly styled with a brown Burberry bag and matching pumps.
Victoria Beckham is the queen of street sophistication in a black and white thyme checked mini skirt by Etoile Isabel Marant, worn with a black long-sleeved top, a Victoria Beckham tote bag and suede Giuseppe Zanotti ankle boots.

Cocktail Frocks
Selena Gomez looked engaging in a floral jacquard Vera Wang dress with purple printed inner skirt and black lace neckline. Black lace Jimmy Choo shoes complete her outfit.
Kate Moss picked a graceful light green Louis Vuitton dress with butterfly sleeves and a studded V-neckline. Chunky ankle strap heels style her look.
Ali Larter is beautifully outfitted in a lilac, green and white floral Marchesa mini with strapless bodice and an asymmetrical peplum skirt.
Sandra Bullock packed a punch in a vividly hued Alex Perry colour-blocked dress in shades of cerise, lime and tangerine. Nude & gold Giuseppe Zanotti sandals finalize her outfit.

Venice Film Festival Flair

Fiammetta Cicogna looked ravishing in an avocado green Alberta Ferretti gown with plunging neckline and black waistband.
Italian actress Eva Riccobono stunned in a delicate ivory lace tiered Armani Privé gown, which we saw just a few days ago in this post.
Sandra Bullock impresses in a radiant scarlet red structured J.Mendel gown with folded bodice and draped slit skirt. Black accessories finalize her look.
Francesca Cavallin is demure in a pale lilac Barbara Casasola gown with contrast violet back and sheer mesh neck insert. We saw this dress just earlier this week, so I am quite excited to see it on the red carpet.
Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani settled on a classic black strapless Valentino gown with full ballroom skirt, adding a pop of colour via a red clutch.

Who is your favourite 'Look of the Week'?

I'm really liking the look of printed pavements. It may be a bit hard to mix and match though but the patterns are really interesting.

Morning Sam! Thanks a bunch for your words, I really appreciate them everytime!:) This week I am little disappointed by the looks I have seen on celebrities, I like few ones, like Ashley Green (love her floral jumpsuit! I'd like to get one similar!), Kate Moss (the dress with butterfly sleeves is so cute and suits her!), Fiammetta Cicogna (impressed by her gown!), Eva Riccobono (natural classy and outstanding!) and Francesca Cavallin (she looks so elegant and refined!). Whilst I dislike Sandra Bullock at the Venice Film Festival, though I really like her and her movies always make me smile, I found that dress not so good for her. Have a great weekend dear, kisses! xo

Every time I would have so many favourite looks of celebrities from the different categories that you share. This week, however, I'm a little disappointed that I can't find a single dressing that I like. Not your fault of course, dear. It's those celebrities. They couldn't dress any nicer this week I suppose. Looking forward to the next round up of looks. Happy Sunday!
